Former Nigeria Premier
League (NPL) boss Davidson Owumi has been appointed as managing director/chief executive officer of Warri
Wolves.
According to a release
made available today by the Delta Football Association Media officer
Timi Ebikagboro and signed by the Secretary General of the Delta State Football
Association, Mr Friday Onothoja, the former Rangers International boss will
take charge under the new management styructure.
The Delta State Sports
Commission in conjunction with the Delta State Football Association dissolved the
management board of the team, having reviewed the performance of the club in
the just concluded 2012/2013 season.
According
to the release, the new management of Warri Wolves will comprise of:
1. Godwin
Abigor - Chairman
2.
Davidson Owumi - Managing Director/CEO
3.
Emmanuel Ibru - Executive Director (Marketing)
4.
Kenneth Nwaomucha - Executive Director (Youth Development& Strategy)
5.
Ogheneochuko Ambakederemo - Director
6.
Lawrence Omohwo - Secretary
The reconstituted management
board of Warri Wolves will be inaugurated shortly
by the executive chairman of
the Delta State Sports Commission, Amaju Pinnick.
