NAMO IS GLO PREMIER LEAGUE "PICHICHI"!

Nasarawa United striker, Victor Namo has emerged as the top scorer of the just concluded 2012/2013 Glo Premierofessional Football League (NPFL) season after scoring 18 League goals.
Namo, who had earlier set a target of 20 goals for himself at the outgone season scored the winner against Heartland on Sunday as The Solid Miners maintained their premier League status for another season.

The former Kano Pillars hitman was followed closely by Warri Wolves striker, Oghenkaro Etebor who finished second with 16 goals, while Mfom Udoh of Akwa United and Rabiu Ali of Kano Pillars ended the season with 15 goals each.

Last season, Sibi Gwar scored 17 goals for Niger Tornadoes to finished as the goal king, but his goals couldn't save Tornadoes from relegation.

Jude Aneke still hold the league's all-time goals record award as he scored 20 goals for Kaduna United two seasons ago.
