LMC, CLUB OWNERS AT WAR AGAIN!

The meeting of the League Management Company(LMC) and club owners ended in Abuja Wednesday with more confusion and no resolutions.

The LMC had intended the meeting as an opportunity to review the just concluded 2012/2013 Glo Premier League season as well as put together an elaborate plan for the new 2013/2014 season but every thing took a different turn when the Club Owners decided to unveil a different agenda, declaring that the tenure of the LMC is over. The communique issued by the club owners is presented below...

Meanwhile the Chairman of the League Management Company(LMC) Nduka Irabor says the Club Owners do not have the power to bring the tenure of the company to an end.

"We were given our mandate by the NFF and not the Club Owners so they(club Owners)can not end our tenure. We are undeterred. We will continue with our plans to reform the league and the club licensing project."

Clearly, talks about when the new season will kick off is not in the picture as the LMC,Club Owners go to war again.
