"SOME PLAYERS WILL LEAVE SHOOTING" - Franklin Howard

New Shooting Stars handler Franklin Howard has said he expects changes in the relegated club with some of the players set to depart. Speaking yesterday (Monday) morning at the team’s full house training, the Oluyole Warriors coach said it is football that some players will come, while some will go ahead of the new season.

"Normally in the system, some will come in, while some will go out, almost all the players were available today, but very soon we are going to do some slight changes,” Howard disclosed.

"Presently, we have a full house with a good squad that can campaign in the new season, but we are still working".

The coach restated his promise will regain their place in the top flight after a season in the lower league.

"We have no other message for our fans and the Oyo State Government that we are coming back to the elite league immediately come next season because that is our target,” he vowed.

Virtually all the players from last season resumed training on Monday except Oladapo Olufemi and Kingsley Eduwo. Goalkeeper Dele Ajiboye turned up after the training and so too injured Morenikeji Akanbi.

However, unconfirmed reports suggested that some of the players were present due to their salaries as most of them have made plans to join premier league clubs.
