As customary with visiting teams, an advance party from Ethiopia are already in town setting up modalities and logistics ahead of the arrival of the squad from Addis Ababa. Ethiopian Football Federation (EFF) President Junedin Bashah has said that they will ferry down sizeable number of supporters to give the team motivation in a match he described as very important to his country.
"All arrangements are in place and on Thursday we will get a chartered flight direct to Calabar to avoid any confusing. An advanced party has ensured everything has been put in place and now we wait for the 90 minutes on the pitch that will decide our destiny. We are planning to travel with fans to boast the morale of the players but we will finalise on the list on Tuesday," Junedin said.
The Eagles have the advantage going into o Saturday’s game having secured a vital 2-1 win away from home in the first leg, to stand any chance of making it to the Wold Cup in Brazil, the Ethiopians will need an outright victory (two-goal margin) over the Eagles in Calabar; a feat no country has achieved in recent times.
